Now of course adding a touch of class and beauty to your kitchen is important but do make sure that each part you add in your kitchen serves its functions well rather than just being a center piece. If you have got kids then it would be quite helpful to them if your kitchen had barstools so it would be easy to feed them breakfast on their days for school. Another good idea is to use stuff for your kitchen that you might be fond of collecting. I for one collect a lot of baskets and plates which is why my kitchen has a plate rail at the top of my cabinets for display. Have you got a particular design in mind already? Here are some ideas you could try. Stainless steel appliances plus white crisp countertops add a contemporary designer kitchen effect. Even adding a red sink to a plain looking kitchen would make the red color blast out. If you are to move things around a bit in your kitchen then it would be best to keep your fridge, stove, sink and microwave in a triangular shape. Doing so would keep all appliances in one part of the kitchen thus there would be ease of movement so you won’t have to move away from your stove when cooking. Another great designer kitchen idea is adding an island to your pots and pans. These are great options of you don’t have much space in your cabinets plus it adds space to your kitchen so cooking is easy. This is even great if you have guests over since these serve as containers for a buffet style dinner or even for desserts so your guests can help themselves.
